Denmark

Today I was accepted for an exchange program for the Winter Semester (09) at the Kolding Design School in Demark. I will be studying Interactive Media, a field closely related to Industrial Design. The opportunity will afford me a chance to get down with some electronics and continue my work related to People and Technology. Here is an exerpt from my acceptance:

“We would like to offer a stay at our interactive media department as his portfolio fits perfectly with the ideas of that department - actually our interactive media teacher said YES when I showed him the portfolio. You can tell him that there are several courses where interactive media and industrial design are working together, actually we start by having a 6 week course in service design for industrial design, interactive media and graphic design straight from the beginning. The focus of the course will be ecological transportation and the services around such a transportation - it can be cars, scooters etc. There will also be a robot project later on and I think he will be able to do some toy project as there will be a project called Robots at play.

So there you have it. More to come on this adventure... available at my eurotraxx blog
